Who we are
Demoku is a free, non-commercial project that emails people reminders about elections they can vote in. Demoku is responsible for the data described here. You can reach us at hello@demoku.eu.
What we keep
- Your email address.
- The countries you are a citizen of and the country you live in.
- A few records we need to run the service: when you signed up, confirmed and unsubscribed, and which reminders we have already sent you, so we never send the same one twice.
We don't ask for your name. We don't use ads, analytics or tracking cookies, and we never sell your data or share it beyond the services listed below.
Why we keep it
Only to send you the reminders you asked for. We rely on your consent, which you give by confirming your email address. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email.
Who helps us run Demoku
- Supabase stores the data, in its Frankfurt (EU) region.
- Resend delivers our emails.
- Vercel hosts the website.
They process data only on our behalf, to provide these services.
How long we keep it
When you unsubscribe we stop emailing you straight away. We keep your record until you ask us to delete it. To have it deleted, email hello@demoku.eu from the address you signed up with and we will delete it.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data, or object to how we use it. You can also complain to your national data protection authority.
